Built on a high hill in 1934, the church was designed by architect Ilmari Wirkkala. The altarpiece and the paintings on the gallery\u2019s railing are also his handwork. The wood carving of the pulpit was made by academician Tapio Wirkkala. The church can accommodate about 250 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A service is held in the church about once a month and in July, there is a weekly evening mass.
