Julunkivi in Sulkava’s Lohikoski, in an area of protected old-growth forests, is one of Finland’s largest glacial erratic boulders. The height of the boulder is 12.5 meters and its circumference almost 60 meters.
Julunkivi is a perfect excursion destination because of its campfire site ‘under’ the stone. The walking distance to the stone along a path in the forest is about 700 meters. The path is marked with blue dots.
In the area, there is a campfire site and a dry toilet that hikers can use.
